We could have a dynamic research browser showcase display at the entrance of iLab, next to the static posters on walls. We could position one of the Smart displays on stand behind the window at the entrance of MS 670 and facing towards the hall, using cameras for interaction, and running on a Raspberry Pi (cheap, fits in display cases). We could imagine just displaying the website as is, or deriving a special augmented version that cues interaction pathways. We could implement this via a 1-day iLab hackathon (like we did for the website earlier this year). This research display would also be useful when we host iLab Demo Days or any visitor (we could then move the apparatus to be browsed inside iLab for these occasions, optionally then with Smart pens), and in Science B display cases.
